Gashu-Group first started as a small website 3 years ago formaly known as MangaMixaz, which in it's short time lost all it's traffic and members; though the idea wasn't strong, it was a learning curve for its founders, Damian F. Ryan and Bradley Macro, including Bradley's twin brother Ryan Macro, the workment of Gashu-Group fell short in 2005 and never went forward until September of 2007 when Damian met Hassan Graham who illustrated Manga concept art, although at that time he had no intentions on creating a manga but with some influencing from Damian, Hassan started Legend Of The Black Dragon. In keeping up the pace Damain worked with a friend who at the time was involved and wanted no part in it afterwards for his own reasons, so Damian moved on and created his own chilling psychological manga.

Since then Gashu opened it's own forum to start with, although no idea was solid at the time, a while after ideas sprung up to create an online network purly for Manga-ka/comic artists, then went the planning on what the audience was aimed at. Gashu-Group after months of struggling to find someone to code found Viral (alias) who coded for 3 months and got Gashu-Groups mainsite online for the October, 2008 London Expo.

Gashu-Group's goal is to give all the mangaka out there a chance to exhibit their manga and get their work published. We believe in equal opportunities for all up-and-coming manga artists and want to encourage the production of original manga from local talents. We support all nascent manga artists and want to build a community for all artists to benefit and grow from! We will aim to go to every major event related to anime and manga, in the United Kingdom, and have high hopes to even get things published by print for early next year (09) we will aim to offer in the future to publish evey manga on our servers at the request of the artist with capital going into the continuaty running of Gashu and ofcourse to the artists aswell. Web comics is what we offer for the time being but we aim to hit more than just this area, we aim to be the new era of a home for manga.
